Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY had reached capacity on their HP MSA 1000 SAN.  They were looking for a larger class of SAN that was easy to implement, manage and migrate into. Saint Joseph looked at several options including EMC’s Clariion SAN and found the HP EVA to be much easier to implement and operate, with a very similar cost.

Matrix Integration worked with Saint Joseph’s to design and install an HP EVA 4000 series SAN. Saint Joseph Hospitals Network Administrator, Dan Knight, says he has been very satisfied with the performance of the EVA 4000 saying it is easy to carve out space for new storage.  St. Joseph is so pleased with the EVA 4000, that they’ve asked Matrix to begin plans on looking into larger EVA solutions as their storage needs have increased exponentially.
