Matrix Integration announced that Brenda Stallings has been recognized as a 2011 Power 100 Woman of the Channel by CRN Magazine. The "Who's Who" list recognizes female executives for their accomplishments over the past year, based on their achievements as executives and the amount of influence they wield over the technology channel. This year’s Women of the Channel were chosen by the editors of CRN Magazine from a field of vendor channel organizations, distributors and solution providers.

“This year’s Power 100 Women of the Channel list honors the most successful and influential women in the IT channel – a traditionally male-centric industry. The Power 100 list is an elite subset of our annual Women of the Channel list, which recognizes the 100 most influential women of the channel based on their overall achievements, and their influence in the technology industry,” said Kelley Damore, VP, Editorial Director, Everything Channel.

Brenda Stallings has been named one of seven recipients of the 2011 Women Excel Bloomington Award. The Bloomington Chamber of Commerce created the WEB Awards Luncheon to honor women leaders who influence the growth of others in the community and/or in their organization. The awards luncheon is part of the Women Excel Bloomington program that was launched in 2010 to facilitate networking and professional growth among women in the community.

In addition to being named one of CRN Magazine’s Women of the Channel, Brenda Stallings was also honored as one of CRN Magazine's  Power 100: The Most Powerful Women of the Channel.  The Power 100 were selected based on the highest ranking women that hold positions in a vendor organization or the VAR500.  These women have proven to make a name for themselves as a leader, both within their organization and in the channel by impacting the course of IT channel history through their achievements.
